This is a broad‑based role spanning accounting, financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and business partnering. You will spearhead process improvements, partner closely with key stakeholders, and uphold strong accounting and financial compliance. Leveraging solid leadership and expertise in accounting and financial reporting, you will enhance process efficiency and ensure effective controls are in place to manage financial risk.
This is a hybrid role that can be based in Purchase, NY, Plano, TX or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
Period end close activity for NACP (North America Coffee Partnership) joint venture (JV). Including journal entry and periodic financial statement preparation
Preparation of account reconciliations, fall‑in/fall‑out analysis, periodic volume reporting, cash flow forecasting and analysis, quarterly balance sheet reviews, as well as quarterly reporting on JV income to PepsiCo
Main point of contact for external & internal audits
Support finance business partners with insights for the periodic forecast and for variances to actuals during period‑end close (i.e., cause of change analysis)
Support operations team for questions on copack purchases, capital spending and any related questions on business results
Prepare periodic calculation and distribution of dividends to NACP partners – PBC and Starbucks Corporate
Prepare Debit memo (billing) requests and PO setup for transactions with copackers both for payment to NACP (calculation and payment of favorable commodity pricing due to market) and payments to them (for the products they produce)
Perform review over calculation of price variances due to/from co packers and ensure proper recording into the financial statements on a period basis
Perform periodic revenue reasonableness analysis, prepare adhoc reports, and assist with developing new reports with S4 SAP plant go‑lives
Support finance team in trade and A&M through processing requested cross charges, leading the annual S4 project set ups, and assisting with year end accruals
Purchase order setup/tracking for G&A invoices through MyBuy purchasing system
Compensation and Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is between $88,200 - $147,650.
Location, confirmed job‑related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
CPA required
3+ years of working experience
This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Public accounting experience with Big 4 firm strongly preferred
Understanding of, and ability to interpret and apply, US GAAP requirements
Strong working knowledge of SAP (SAP ECC and S4 Hana)
Strong/open communication style to lead calls with Operations, Co Packers, Planning and business peers in Co Pack accounting, Internal Audit and Planning
Comfort in speaking with all levels of the organization, including the General Manager of the partnership and other senior management employees
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in‑house software applications
