Cleanliness and sanitation

Properly storing food items
Adhering to food safety guidelines
Required skills and qualifications
Basic knife skills for slicing meats and cheeses
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to operate deli slicing equipment
Basic math skills for weighing and pricing items
