salary: $23 - $25 per hour. shift: First. work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM. education: High School.
Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and fleet managers, providing clear updates on vehicle status and estimated completion times.
Service Writing & Documentation:
Open and close repair orders (ROs) accurately, ensuring all labor hours and specialized trucking parts are documented for billing.
Parts & Inventory Management:
Order necessary components for heavy-duty repairs, track incoming shipments, and manage 'core' returns to ensure the shop gets its credits back.
Invoicing & Payments:
Process final bills for fleet accounts and independent owner-operators, ensuring all work performed is paid for before the truck leaves the yard.
Compliance & Records Maintenance:
Organize and file critical paperwork, including DOT inspection reports, maintenance logs, and warranty claims to keep the shop and its clients audit-ready.

Excel (2 years of experience is preferred)
