Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Maintenance Technician / Handymanto help maintain a luxury apartment community. This role is ideal for someone with general maintenance and basic HVAC experiencewho enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and helping keep a community running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Complete routine maintenance work orders including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
Perform basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting (filter changes, thermostat checks, drain lines, etc.)
Assist with make-readies including minor repairs, painting, and HVAC checks
Handle general handyman tasks such as repairing doors, replacing fixtures, and small carpentry work
Help maintain the grounds and common areas to keep the property looking its best
Work with the team to identify and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
What We're Looking For
Experience in maintenance, handyman work, or apartment maintenance
Basic HVAC knowledge required (EPA certification is a plus)
Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasksComfortable using hand and power tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Reliable and professional when interacting with residents and staff
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and work indoors and outdoors
