Are you passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities? Join our team at Vulcan as an HR Recruiter and play a vital role in shaping our workforce. In this position, you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting onboarding while creating a positive and engaging experience for every applicant.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused role ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and energized by building relationships. You’ll also represent Vulcan in the community through job fairs, career events, and outreach efforts.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
Lead the recruiting process from job posting to hire, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
Manage and maintain our applicant tracking system with accurate, up-to-date information
Source, screen, and evaluate candidates to identify the best fit for our team
Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to create a positive experience
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and support selection decisions
Extend offers and guide new hires through the onboarding process
Maintain organized applicant records and documentation
Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and pre-employment requirements
Represent Vulcan at job fairs, career days, and community hiring events
Partner with staffing agencies and track temporary workforce needs
Create social media content to highlight open positions
Support additional HR initiatives and projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
1–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms
A customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others
