Job Overview
We are looking for a Life Enrichment Coordinator to join the Ebenezer Team at Jones‑Harrison in Minneapolis, MN. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate goal‑oriented and therapeutic programs for all senior/adult residents. In addition, the role serves as a resource person for independent leisure pursuits, enabling residents to achieve an optimal level of intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual potential.

Position Details

Full‑time: 80 hours every 2 weeks

Schedule: Week 1 – Tuesday to Saturday; Week 2 – Monday to Friday

Day shift hours

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and conduct programs that meet the interests and needs of residents.

Initiate and manage structured and unstructured programs in intellectual, social, emotional, physical, cultural, intergenerational, educational, creative, and spiritual domains.

Plan programs at least one month in advance with the team.

Recruit residents and conduct programs as scheduled.

Arrange necessary supplies and responsibilities in a timely manner.

Evaluate the therapeutic value of group programs and outings regularly and respond to the Director’s requests.

Plan and organize community outings and special events.

Notify residents of upcoming opportunities.

Support the growth of 1:1 programming.

Cooperate with the chaplain or local clergy.

Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medical record documentation and participation.

Complete MDS, assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

Update attendance/participation records.

Gather information from other team members about resident progress.

Attend and participate in IDT and resident care conferences.

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, or a related field.

Less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, or a related field.

1 year of experience.

Certifications such as CTRS, MT‑BC.
