Position Summary
The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Use pallet jack to accurately pick orders, stage, pack, band, shrink wrap, and label products as required.
Verify that all products and orders meet quality standards, report any damages or discrepancies, and complete documentation per Standard Operating Procedures.
Execute all safety protocols, maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, and assist in security of the warehouse.
Operate equipment such as pallet jack safely and efficiently; maintain equipment and report issues.
Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
Work overtime as dictated by business; perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work in warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.
English proficiency (reading, writing, verbal).
Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for verifying quantities.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, adaptability to change, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
Current or prior MHE certification.
Physical Demands
Occasionally handling/fingering and sitting; frequently bending; constantly walking and standing; ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Work Environment
Noise level is usually low to moderate; rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
