Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Manufacturing Operator 2 for our pharmaceutical partner in Eugene, OR. The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $19 per hour, which may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Essential Functions

Complete production and quality analysis of reagents, components, and finished products in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and the Production Schedule to ensure timely availability of cost‑effective, high‑quality products.

Effectively communicate and interface with workgroups to ensure the completion of daily production.

Work in both standard and cleanroom environments while adhering to room‑specific PPE requirements.

Operate and/or monitor production equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations and high‑quality results.

Work alone or with other technicians to perform formulation, filling, and/or labeling of products.

Understand production paperwork, including product and label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, torque checks, etc.

Follow steps in the manufacturing paperwork without deviating from instructions.

Work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.

Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.

Follow ISO 13485 guidelines and all company SOPs.

Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware, or equipment as needed.

Work overtime and flexible shifts as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Description
Responsible for final formulation of various product lines that serve the bi‑tech industry. Employees carry out production processes by closely following Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents. The job encounters recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm, involving a moderate degree of complexity. Accuracy is required; mistakes could cause substantial errors.

Physical Requirements

Regular standing, walking, using hands and arms to handle objects, tools, or controls; talking, hearing, and smelling.

Frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Sitting for extended periods depending on the work nature.

Frequent lifting or moving up to 10 lb, occasionally up to 40 lb.

Visual ability for close, distance, color vision and focus adjustment.

Work in moderate noise levels.

Skills

Proficiency with basic packaging techniques, equipment, and protocol record retention.

Comfortable handling chemicals.

Good computational skills.

Ability to carry out instructions without deviation.

Education

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

BS (or AS with relevant experience) in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or another related life‑science discipline preferred.

Experience - Required

Proven ability to follow policies, procedures, instructions, and consistently adhere to the production schedule.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience - Preferred

1 year experience in a life‑science/biotechnology discipline.

Experience with collecting optical density measurements.

Experience with precise bulk reagent formulation.

Experience with filling, capping, and labeling using precision liquid handling tools and processes.

Experience in manufacturing diagnostic products for research and regulated markets.

Experience completing documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Pay Details
$19.00 per hour
