We are seeking a detail-oriented Marking and Serialization Technician to support our manufacturing operations by accurately labeling, marking, and documenting components and assemblies. This role is critical to ensuring traceability, compliance, and quality across all production processes. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with marking equipment, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.
The Marking Clerk is responsible for accurate serialization and marking at various levels of assembly.
Position Responsibilities
Print labels for kits
Mark assemblies using stamping equipment
Mix chemicals/ink
Follow work instruction to complete marking operation
Document part number, lot, and batch
Serialize components and document serialization
Understand how to utilize marking equipment
Communicates issues with instructions or equipment to supervision and support departments
Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization
Skills & Abilities
Fine manual dexterity
Ability to operate various machines and hand tools
Demonstrates high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as a team player within a small team
Enjoys repetitive and routine work
Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructions (read/understand schematics, CAD drawings or blue prints)
Fine motor skills, dexterity, and good eyesight
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Obtains and maintains basic certifications in IPC610 and JStandard001 procedures
Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance
Work Environment
Production Environment: Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Hours 6:00 - 3:30, Monday through Thursday; Friday 6:00-2:30; occasional additional hours as needed
