As an Installation Technician, you’ll work independently at our customers’ homes and businesses as a trusted expert, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services. You’ll meet new people every day while solving problems and being rewarded for doing great work. No two days will be the same, whether you’re putting in a new line, climbing a ladder, or simply plugging in and activating a wifi network.
Responsibilities
Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes and businesses.
Work independently as a trusted expert and provide exceptional customer service.
Install the latest technology and resolve installation-related issues; troubleshoot as needed.
Perform physical installation tasks such as running new lines and using ladders when required.
Ensure safety, including adherence to ladder safety standards and weight limits.
Identify wire and cable colors for proper connections.
Be available for overtime, emergency call outs, and holiday work as needed.
Qualifications
Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Possess a valid state driver’s license.
Lift and move up to 80 lbs; some ladders weigh 50–60 lbs.
Weigh less than 275 lbs., required for ladder safety.
Occasionally work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
Be available for overtime, emergency call outs, and holiday work.
Qualify on pre-employment assessment.
Compensation
Our Installation Technicians earn between
$25.15 and $30.89
per hour. Our average starting salary is $58,212 per year. Additional rewards and benefits are offered by the company.
