
Manufacturing Vending Dispatcher

Summary
Initial point of contact for fulfilling production supplies requested for vending machines or ongoing monthly blanket orders; transport/ship production supplies to the appropriate locations; and stock vending machines with production supplies while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Essential Functions
Maintain a high level of customer service, with a high regard to communication.
Maintain monthly Purchase Orders from outside vendors.
Fill Visibility orders with production supplies stocked in the PCC-DDC Warehouse.
Deliver production supplies to the appropriate location(s).
Conduct inventory counts at vending areas where applicable.
Stock vending machines with production supplies.
Receive delivered material into Visibility.
Conduct daily cycle counts on material within the PCC-DDC Warehouse.
Maintain an organized and efficient inventory area.
Maintain regular shipments of outbound material to outside packaging vendor.
Maintain high level of accuracy in completing inventory transactions.
Work closely with purchasing agent to communicate potential stockouts or overstock situations.
Must comply with all applicable safety requirements, policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment. Must participate in required training, medical monitoring, safety and health evaluations and programs.
Perform other tasks as directed.
Qualifications
1-2 years experience in distribution center environment (preferred).
Valid driver's license required. Meets PCC Driver's Qualifications.
Ability to follow written instructions.
Ability to organize information and materials, and attend to details.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to interact effectively with others.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to organize time and workloads effectively and to work independently.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in Windows based software required. Experience in Visibility or an MRP system is preferred.
Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing up to 35lbs.
Ability to work in difficult working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes, and other elements for extended periods of time.
PCC's Forklift Driving Safety Training must be completed, as assigned.
