NOW HIRING: ARMED & UNARMED EVENT SECURITY OFFICERS (PART-TIME / SEASONAL)
Location: Harrisburg, PA & Surrounding Areas

KRE Security, LLC is actively seeking professional, dependable Armed and Unarmed Event Security Officers to support a wide range of events throughout the Harrisburg region, including festivals, concerts, corporate functions, and community gatherings. This role is ideal for individuals who are alert, customer-focused, and capable of maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a visible security presence to deter and respond to incidents
Monitor entrances, exits, and crowd activity
Check credentials and control access points as needed
Respond promptly to disturbances, emergencies, or safety concerns
Coordinate with event staff, local authorities, and emergency services when necessary
Write clear and accurate incident reports
Deliver excellent customer service while enforcing event policies
Qualifications
Strong observational and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Reliable transportation to event locations in the Harrisburg area
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not required
Armed positions require proper certification/licensing
Valid guard card/license (if required by Pennsylvania law) or willingness to obtain
