How You Will Make An Impact:
The
Deli Prep Cook
is responsible for prepping and portioning sandwich and salad ingredients and dressings/sauces for our multiple delis. These items are prepped in our commercial kitchen and then delivered to the delis.
Slice cheeses and meats, weigh and separate into individual portions.
Chop vegetables for sandwich toppings and salads.
Make salad dressings using standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality.
Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment, as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
1+ years experience in a deli or food prep role
Basic knowledge of kitchen terminology
Proven experience following set recipes
Neat and professional appearance
Knowledge and ability to work in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
