Job Summary
The Kennel Assistant will perform janitorial and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, clients, and staff. The role involves sanitizing kennels, common spaces, and treatment areas, stocking supplies, and supporting the kennel team in overall facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

Sanitize kennels, common areas, and treatment spaces

Stock and organize supplies and inventory

Assist with patient handling and transport as needed

Unpack and organize inventory orders

Perform surgical/dental instrument cleaning and sterilization

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of work areas

Schedule & Hours
Part‑time position: 2–3 days per week. Shift options: 2 p‑7 p (Mon‑Sat) with rotating weekends; every other Saturday shift of 8 a‑1 p.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly wage: $16–$18 per hour, based on hours worked

Minimum Qualifications & Skill Set

Prior kennel experience is a plus

Proficiency in the following skills:

Cleaning and organizing

Patient handling

Attention to detail

Unpacking and organizing inventory orders

Surgical/dental instrument cleaning and sterilization
