Responsibilities
Roxbury is currently hiring a full‑time team member to create lifetime relationships with discharging patients to support their long‑term recovery. Certified Recovery Specialist credentials are preferred but not required. The Alumni Services Coordinator is responsible for building positive relationships with four stakeholder groups—patients, alumni, families, and local communities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Alumni Services Coordinator is responsible for:
Alumni outreach and coordination of on‑site and off‑site events
Serves as a liaison to new and discharging patients
Conducts group facilitation and speaker coordination
Assists with social media for the facility
Oversees enrollment and ongoing communication with the alumni group
Maintains the alumni database and community events
Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for 41 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Hippensburg, PA, our 112‑bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults, as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13‑17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Our mission is to provide high‑quality behavioral health services in an environment that values service excellence, respect, and ethical standards, integrity, compassion, and teamwork.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience/Knowledge: Working knowledge of the 12‑step program and/or Smart Recovery.
Licensing/Certification: Certification as a recovery support specialist required.
Knowledge: Must possess working knowledge of dual diagnosis/chemical dependency treatment approaches, 12‑step program recovery philosophies, experience interacting in a supportive manner with adult patients, limit setting and behavior management, crisis prevention and intervention techniques. Must possess knowledge of continuing care resources and processes.
