Fletch-Barney Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is seeking a Service Dispatcher to join our company at our Marietta, GA location. MUST have experience in the service industry with the skills to speak with customers with regard to their plumbing issues, ability to schedule technicians and work with other office personnel in order to efficiently and effectively schedule jobs and work with customers. Must also be dependable and able to work Monday through Friday 8 am until 5 pm. Must provide references and pass drug testing.
Key Responsibilities include:
Answering incoming calls from customers, taking detailed information about plumbing issues, scheduling service appointments, and confirming details.
Assigning plumbing technicians to service calls based on availability, location, and job complexity, ensuring efficient routing.
Creating and updating work orders with customer information, job details, and technician assignments, tracking progress throughout the service call.
Providing clear instruction to technicians regarding job specifics, customer expectations, and any necessary parts or equipment.
Ability to handle urgent plumbing issues and dispatching technicians accordingly.
Address customer concerns, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process.
Required Skills:
Ability to clearly and professionally interact with customers and technicians over the phone and via email.
Efficiently manage multiple service calls, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining schedules.
Basic understanding of plumbing systems and common service issues to accurately assess customer needs.
Familiarity with dispatch software.
