Applicants must be 18 years or over, hold a full driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle with a full UK driver's licence.
Location
Pembrokeshire Care covers all areas of Pembrokeshire. This role is predominantly for the Milford or Haverfordwest team but coverage in other areas may be required from time to time.
Shift patterns
Shifts are made up of a combination of morning/lunch shifts and afternoon/evening shifts. We welcome full‑time and part‑time candidates.
Experience
Whether you have previous support worker experience or are looking for a chance to begin a new career, we want to hear from you. We will provide you with full support through our Social Care Induction and help you through the entire registration process to register as a professional Social Care Worker. You will need a driving licence and your own car.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be caring and be able to work on their own initiative, have a person‑centred approach, be confident to lone work in the community and take pride in providing the highest quality of care.
You will be required to drive to each customer's home and perform care related duties as outlined in the individual's person‑centred care plan.
Take responsibility for the physical and emotional well‑being and social needs of our customers;
Promote their independence and maintain high levels of dignity and respect;
Carry out or assist customers with personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals;
Medication monitoring;
Transferring using safe moving and handling techniques and approved equipment;
Preparation of light meals and snacks;
Liaising with your Team Leader as required;
Maintain accurate records of all care provided through a mobile application.
Required Experience
No experience required; full training provided.
