Position
Security Officer Part Time - Clearance Required in San Diego, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $24.61 / Hour
Schedule
Day Time: Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
What You\'ll Do
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific policies, front desk procedures, and emergency response activities appropriate for a defense-related location.
Monitor access at the front desk by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Answer phones, greet arriving personnel, and support reception operations while helping to uphold security-related procedures and information control at the location.
Prepare reports and maintain required logs related to visitor processing, deliveries, and security-related events in alignment with site guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.
