Broders’ Cucina Italiana has been serving and selling house-made and quality imported pastas and risottos since 1982, focusing both on Italian regional traditions as well as seasonal and local ingredients. POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and responsible temporary PM Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced cook who thrives in a high-volume environment and takes real pride in their craft. The position runs immediately through August 1st, covering Wednesday through Sunday dinner shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. While this is a temporary position, there is a possibility that full-time opportunities may become available in August, though this is not guaranteed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Stretch, top, and bake pizzas to Broders’ recipes and exacting quality standards
Monitor oven temperature, baking time, and crust consistency throughout the shift to ensure every pizza leaves the kitchen right
Assist with daily dough production — mixing, proofing, portioning, and proper storage
Execute prep with precision: sauce production, ingredient prep, topping rotation, and station readiness
Maintain the pizza station in a clean, organized, and fully stocked state throughout the shift
Communicate clearly with counter staff on pacing, ticket flow, and special orders
Perform high-volume prep and execution during peak dinner service hours
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Perform other related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING

Experience cooking in a high-volume kitchen environment
Solid background in prep and execution — you know how to set up your station, stay organized, and perform consistently under pressure
Willingness to learn pizza making techniques — dough handling, stretching, topping, and working with high-heat ovens
You care that every pizza is great, not just done
Comfort working at a fast counter pace while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a busy kitchen setting
Wednesday–Sunday PM availability required for the duration of the position
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to be a reliable, accountable team player
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in the food service industry
Wednesday through Sunday evening availability required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods standing and walking on hard surfaces
Extensive bending, grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the kitchen
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
