Valet Attendant
to join our team at the iconic

Job Role
A valet attendant is responsible for greeting guests, driving and parking their vehicles in a designated area, retrieving the vehicles upon request, and providing excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for customers upon arrival and departure, all while maintaining a safe and organized work area; this often includes assisting with luggage and providing directions as needed.
Responsibilities
Professionally greet customers upon arrival, offering a friendly and courteous welcome.
Enthusiastically greets all guests and members of the public as they enter/exit the hotel and creates a welcoming feeling.
Acts as ambassador for each guest to demonstrate exceptional service during each interaction.
Accurately checks and stores luggage for early arrivals and departures with luggage tags.
Safely drive and park guests' vehicles in designated parking areas.
Promptly retrieve vehicles when requested by guests.
Aid guests with loading and unloading luggage as needed.
Provide information and answer questions about the location and surrounding area.
Keep track of vehicle locations and corresponding parking tickets.
Ensure the valet stand and parking areas are kept clean and organized.
Follow key control and guest privacy procedures with extreme scrutiny and dedication.
When not busy with administrative tasks or guests; step out from behind desk and clean, organize, ensure furniture is in place, and chat with guests in the lobby, etc.
Surprise and delight all guests with hospitality, level of service, and ability to take a stay from great to amazing.
Follow all processes and ensure Front Office touchpoints, as well as hotel service standards, are being met.
Curate lobby atmosphere by monitoring lighting, and music level, and assisting guests.
Handle all incident reports as needed.
Understand all emergency and life safety procedures.
Complete daily checklist and complete other duties as assigned.
Compensation
$14.81 plus tips

Requirements
Minimum of High School Diploma
Ability to maneuver vehicles safely and confidently in various traffic conditions.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests in a positive and professional manner.
Ability to accurately record vehicle information and maintain a clean work area.
Clear and effective communication to understand guest needs and provide directions.
Previous customer/guest services experience.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to occasionally run, lift heavy objects, and push heavy carts, as well as stand for long periods of time.
Must be flexible regarding scheduling, based on business demands.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift luggage.
Lift up to 60-80 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs.
