About the Job: DLP Services is currently accepting applications for the position of:
POSITION TITLE: General Labor
Location: Del Rio, TX
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Hire Pay: 10.00 to $15.00 per hour
Classification: Temporary or Temp-To Hire
Responsibilities
The job responsibilities primarily involve physical labor, including moving and assembling furniture, equipment, and materials, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Performs physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
Receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.
Assemble and maintain physical structures, using hand or power tools.
Able to clean the area to move furniture.
Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Effective interpersonal/communication skills.
Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
Ability to understand verbal instructions.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
Ability to lift, push/pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 55 pounds.
Supervision
The supervisor provides formal supervision. The position requires independent completion of tasks.
Working Conditions
The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and outdoor environment, involving physical work.
Drug Testing Policy
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Services has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
Minimum Qualifications
Must pass a background check.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
