Cloud Infrastructure Architect (Ref: 5611)

Onsite in Sacramento, CA
Candidates will be required to provide PDF copy of certifications and diploma.
Candidates will be required to provide three client references from previous work.
Minimum Mandatory Qualifications
One or more of the following certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Certified Kubernetes Administrator
At least five (5) years of experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation or something similar.
At least five (5) years of experience developing automation scripts and managing cloud functions using Python, Ruby, Go or something similar.
At least five (5) years of experience providing operational support, maintenance, monitoring, and incident resolution for cloud-based infrastructure services, including server-based workloads hosted in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or comparable public cloud platforms.
At least ten (10) years of experience performing IT infrastructure engineering, administration, and operations support for enterprise computing environments, including physical and virtual servers, cloud-based instances, storage systems, backup platforms, and related infrastructure components.
At least ten (10) years of experience supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux server operating systems in a production enterprise environment, including server patching, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.
Desirable Technical Qualifications
Experience providing consulting services to State and/or Federal agencies in the USA.
Experience with modern architecture patterns and standards, and designing cloud solutions for availability, reliability, scalability, security and cost-effectiveness.
Experience architecting for high-performance serverless computing and managing applications in containers at scale using Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with public cloud infrastructure services, including AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, such as, Amazon Elastic Block Store AWS (EBS), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud AWS (VPC), AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and identity and access management services.
Experience with virtualization technologies, including Microsoft Hyper-V and/or comparable enterprise virtualization platforms, supporting server provisioning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
Experience with enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions, including backup scheduling, restore testing, and recovery procedures for both on-premises and cloud-hosted workloads using tools like Veeam.
Experience with server patching, update management, and configuration management processes to ensure system security, stability, and compliance using tools like Tanium.
