Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Patient Interaction
Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner
Check patients in and out for appointments
Verify personal and insurance information
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
2. Appointment Scheduling
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments
Send reminder (Calls, texts, or collaborations)
Manage walk-ins and urgent appointments
3. Administrative tasks
Maintain and update patient records
Handle data entry with accuracy
Scan and file documents
Process forms such as consent forms or referrals
4. Insurance and Billing Support
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
Collect co-pays, deductibles, or outstanding balances
Communicate with insurance companies when needed
5. Communication and Coordination
Relay messages between patients and clinical staff
Coordinate referrals with referral department, lab orders, or follow-ups
Work closely with MA, physicians, and teams
Keep the front desk area organized and clean
Ensure patient flow is efficient and timely

Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills (EHR/EMR systems, scheduling software)
Attention to detail and organization
Multitasking and time management
Knowledge of medical terminology (Helpful but not always required)
Bilingual in Spanish and English

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in customer service or healthcare
