
ServiceNow QA/Test Engineer

CTG is seeking to fill a ServiceNow QA/Test Engineer position for our client.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end quality assurance and testing efforts for a large-scale public sector ServiceNow platform
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc.)
Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to support efficient regression testing
Perform detailed manual functional testing of new features and thorough regression testing during platform upgrades and patch cycles
Validate platform configurations against security controls and data privacy requirements aligned with FedRAMP standards
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; collaborate with development and architecture teams on root cause analysis
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting in script preparation and providing technical guidance to stakeholders
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system responsiveness and scalability under enterprise-level usage
Skills
Strong expertise in ServiceNow QA methodologies and platform testing
Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow Test Management)
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium (preferred)
Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy standards (FedRAMP experience preferred)
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Experience
4+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience testing within the ServiceNow platform
Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise or public sector implementations preferred
Proven ability to manage both manual and automated testing processes
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or ISTQB Certified Tester preferred
Benefits
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $62.00 to $68.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
