FCP is a leading real estate investment company that has invested in or financed more than $13 billion in assets nationally since its founding in 1999. We are currently seeking an Associate/Sr. Associate to join our Washington, DC Investor Relations and Capital Formation team.
Your Impact:
As an Associate/Sr. Associate, you will support our clients and investment decisions by:
Supporting the IR & Capital Formation strategy and implementing/executing strategic priorities across the platform; including working with senior IR/Capital Rasing leadership and Portfolio Management team
Preparing and reviewing investor communications including quarterly reporting, notifications, and inquiry templates
Connecting with investment and asset management teams across the platform, and generating analysis that influences business development decisions
Leading weekly and monthly reporting efforts on capital raising updates across products and overall platform to the IR/Capital Raising leadership for use across strategic initiatives and the determination of investor priorities, including client prospecting
Leading the preparation of investor due diligence and capital raising deliverables including DDQs, RFPs, RFIs, quantitative datasets, and on-site investor materials
Partnering cross functionally to create, proofread and format internal and external presentations
Overseeing the accuracy and integrity of the investor CRM and reporting related tools via thorough data validation
Leading the preparation of responses to investor correspondence, inquiries, and requests
Analyzing qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
Overseeing the execution for the annual investor conferences, including presentation materials and event messaging
Overseeing the development and optimization of processes and infrastructure across the IR/Capital Formation function in collaboration with Data Management teams
Your Qualifications:
Three to five years of relevant work experience, within an investor relations, fund accounting, or fund management capacity at an alternative investment, placement agent, or investment consulting firm. Experience in commercial real estate is preferred.
Bachelor's Degree with excellent academic credentials
SIE, Series 7, 63 and 66 preferred or willingness to obtain
Excellent proficiency in modeling commercial real estate principles, market analysis, and valuation
Ability to analyze qualitative data and quantitative information and translate and articulate ideas into strategic internal and external deliverables
Ability to analyze GAAP financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
Strong proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Proficiency in Salesforce and Investran, preferred
Strong process and project management skills: coordination, execution, follow-up and attention to detail
Ambitious self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management
A desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
Ability to deliver with a sense of urgency, responding to tight deadlines and multiple demands
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to manage complex, cross functional projects in a professional, inclusive, deadline-driven fashion
Meticulous and committed to producing high-quality work
Willingness to work in office five days per week
Some travel may be required
