We are seeking a dependable Unarmed Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment through active monitoring, patrols, and customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to routine and emergency situations.
Schedule
Friday & Saturday: 11:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor premises through patrols (foot and/or vehicle) and dispatch/command center duties
Control access points and verify visitors
Provide front desk and customer service support
Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures
Identify and report suspicious activity or security risks
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies (medical, fire, etc.)
Complete accurate and timely incident reports
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous security experience preferred
Military or law enforcement background is a plus
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Basic to moderate computer/technical skills
Detail-oriented with strong observational skills
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods (3090 minutes)
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Work Environment
Combination of indoor and outdoor duties
May include patrol, dispatch, and front desk responsibilities
Must be able to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
