Spark Electrical Solutions is seeking an experienced and dependable Unlimited Oklahoma Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, solid field knowledge, and the ability to work independently or alongside a crew in commercial environments. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining code compliance.
Position Summary
The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with applicable codes, project specifications, and company standards. This role requires a current journeyman license, strong understanding of the NEC, and the ability to read and interpret plans, schematics, and field conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC and local code requirements
* Work independently or lead apprentices/helpers as needed
* Diagnose electrical issues efficiently and provide effective solutions in the field
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times
* Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and project managers
* Accurately track materials, document work performed, and report project progress
* Support project schedules, including overtime or adjusted hours when needed
* Represent Spark Electrical Solutions professionally on all job sites
Qualifications
* Valid Unlimited Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License
* Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
* Experience in residential and commercial electrical work
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
* Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
* Experience working with common wiring methods and electrical equipment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Ability to lead or work alongside apprentices and helpers
* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
* Willingness to work flexible hours or travel if project needs require it
Preferred Qualifications
* Additional state reciprocated licenses or ability to reciprocate into Oklahoma
* Experience leading small crews or managing portions of a project
* Strong customer service and communication skills
