Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator
Position: Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator
Primary Responsibilities
Enter debits, credits, and journal entries into QuickBooks as needed.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and credit card payments.
Process accounts receivable/payable duties
Process customer invoicing and vendor bills
Process and send vendor and customer statements
Answer phone calls for the office and interface with wholesale customers and venders
Records financial transactions such as outgoing and incoming checks
Reviews invoices and company bills
Additional Duties
Manage the company email inbox and distribute information appropriately.
Use QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other provided software.
Receive requests for materials for the stores
Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Requires
Accounting/ bookkeeping experience
Knowledge and experience with Quick Books and Toast
Experience with Journal Entries
Computer literacy / knowledge required.
1 to 2 years Office Admin experience.
Some College work or College Degree preferred but not required.
Business Acumen skills preferred.
Accurate data entry, attention to detail, time-management skills, and ability to prioritize assigned work tasks
Must communicated effectively with employees, external vendors and suppliers
Must be able to have patience and composure when handling challenging situations
Must be discreet and trustworthy to handle numbers and other confidential information
Flexibility in office or at home when the circumstances require
40-hour work week
