Job Title
The grounds crew prepares and maintains City of Strongsville recreation fields for play and cleans City parks. The job is seasonal and part-time.
Examples Of Duties
Position involves baseball/softball field maintenance and preparation. Job is physically demanding. Requires lifting heavy materials (25 pounds), operating motor vehicles and use of field maintenance equipment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the job satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the primary job functions herein described. Since every duty associated with this position may not be described herein, employees may be required to perform duties not specifically spelled out in the job description, but which may be reasonably considered to be incidental in the performing of their duties just as though they were actually written out in this job description.
Typical Qualifications
Must have a good driving record and be able to multi-task.
Applicants must be 18 or older.
Available to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
The job includes morning, evening, and weekend hours.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
