Position Summary

The Security Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety of guests and team members while protecting company assets. This role drives operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and team performance within the security department in alignment with company policies and gaming regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and evaluate all security operations, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures
Assign security personnel based on operational needs, skillsets, and experience levels
Supervise, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and adherence to standards
Ensure timely completion and accuracy of all security reports and documentation
Conduct investigations related to theft, fraud, misconduct, and policy violations
Train team members on security procedures, incident response, and applicable laws regarding detention and arrest
Monitor property conditions through regular patrols to identify and mitigate safety and security risks
Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated safety efforts across the property
Maintain and update security procedures, manuals, and operational protocols
Support recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions within the department
Foster a positive team environment focused on engagement, accountability, and performance
Ensure completion of annual performance evaluations for all department team members
Prepare detailed incident and investigation reports
Represent the property professionally in all interactions with guests and team members
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience

Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Seven (7) years of casino security experience
Four (4) years of management experience in a security environment
Strong leadership, supervisory, and team development skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred:
Experience in a casino resort environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Exposure to varying environmental conditions, including weather, noise, confined spaces, and secondhand smoke
Frequent mobility throughout the property, including prolonged standing and walking
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
Requires physical agility, coordination, balance, and endurance
Involves sustained mental focus, analytical thinking, and decision-making under time pressure
Regular verbal and written communication required
Schedule

Schedule varies based on business needs
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required
