Responsibilities:
Reviewing patient statements and reconciling outstanding items.
Maintaining account receivable reports.
Communicating with employers, insurance companies, and patients regarding delinquent accounts.
Submitting appeals to insurance carriers and independently composing correspondence.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a related field.
Previous experience in healthcare collection/billing.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding.
Salary: $22-$27/hr
