DO;MD - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

Provide interventional radiology coverage for daytime procedures and possible diagnostic reading

Typical shifts are 7:30/8:00 AM through 4:30/5:00 PM

No weekends or on-call coverage required

Must be willing to work at multiple locations as needed

Perform IR procedures all day with possible diagnostic exam reading between cases

Required procedures include: US-guided biopsies (liver, lymph node, neck, prostate, renal, thyroid), US paracentesis and thoracentesis, CT-guided procedures (bone biopsy, drainage, lung biopsy), bone marrow biopsy, tube exchanges, IVC filters, PICC lines, tunneled dialysis catheters, and tunneled Pleurx catheters

Additional procedures the facility can support include lung and renal ablations, AAA endo stents, renal vascular stents, embolizations, IVC removals, and percutaneous gastrostomy tubes
