As the

Sr Data Analyst,

you willplay a key role in improving and scaling the company's investment data and reporting capabilities. This position combines technical expertise with deep knowledge of investment data to deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build scalable, automated processes for collecting, transforming, validating, reconciling, and reporting investment data
Support investment data product development, including gathering requirements, writing user stories, and participating in user acceptance testing (UAT)
Help shape product roadmaps to align data capabilities with business needs
Maintain and improve data infrastructure, including pipelines, data models, and centralized data repositories
Ensure smooth integration of data across systems to support reporting, analytics, and operations
Monitor data flows from internal and external sources, identify issues, and implement improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency
Create dashboards and reports to support oversight, financial analysis, and strategic decisions
Act as a subject matter expert on investment data systems and provide guidance to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Investment Management, Risk, Accounting, Treasury, Technology) and external vendors to support data initiatives
Strengthen data governance by maintaining data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in financial services, with hands-on experience in investment data management and solution design
Strong track record of improving processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and manage risk
Proficiency in SQL, especially working with large datasets and database design
Experience supporting product management activities, including requirements gathering and UAT
Background in data processing, reconciliation, reporting, and system integration
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
Understanding of financial markets and instruments, particularly fixed income and risk analytics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced xywuqvp environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data pipelines and cloud platforms, especially AWS
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages
Experience with financial systems such as BlackRock Aladdin, FactSet, or Clearwater
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in Agile environments
CFA designation or progress toward certification
