The Role
Amphenol Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to work at its state‑of‑the‑art facility in Sidney, NY.

The Manufacturing Supervisor coordinates and ensures the execution of production flow, staffs assigned operations, manages equipment, and reduces manufacturing costs. They work with all Sidney operations to maximize productivity, delivery, and product quality, and execute process improvements and cost reductions.

Key Responsibilities

Manages AAO Sidney production workflow centers, production, & production support groups

Administrative responsibility for hourly employees

Understands and resolves impediments to production flow, i.e. material shortages, labor, or equipment issues

Responsible for ensuring safety and quality of the assigned work area

Facilitates budgeted cost reductions, productivity improvements & capital equipment recommendations

Interfaces with Union leadership in resolving labor issues and enforces all company policies

Customer service support and responsibility for on‑time delivery

Training of assigned personnel

20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

Salary
$62,534 - $75,000

The Person
Key skills and qualities of a Manufacturing Supervisor at Amphenol Aerospace:

Minimum BA/BS in an operations‑related discipline or equivalent education/experience.

3-5 plus years of prior operations or materials related experience

Prior personnel management and/or leadership experience

Working knowledge of plant manufacturing operations and MRP systems

Understands factory documentation and quality systems

Cost reduction and budget experience

Personnel management and leadership

Good problem‑solving skills

Ability to move about the factory floor and stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift & carry up to 20 pounds

Ability to use a computer
