Daytime: Fri 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM; Sat 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM; Sun 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM
What You'll Do
Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify issues that may need attention.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with entry procedures, directions, and reporting concerns involving restricted areas, disturbances, and/or suspicious behavior.
Support a professional environment by following post orders, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and providing courteous assistance during routine operations and/or urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
Willing to work in a hospital environment that may include exposure to the morgue.
Proof of high school diploma or GED.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
A valid driver's license.
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
