Role Summary
An AgTech Venture Analyst evaluates investment opportunities in agricultural technology firms, conducting market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to identify promising startups and growth potential. This role combines expertise in venture capital, agriculture and technology to support strategic investment decisions and portfolio development.
Purpose
To identify, evaluate, and support early-to-growth stage AgTech startups, ensuring our portfolio remains compliant with the 2026 EU AI Act while maximizing ESG-aligned financial returns.
Impact
You will be the primary filter for our €500M AgTech fund, directly influencing the deployment of capital into technologies that address global food security and climate resilience.
Team Structure
Part of the Investment Team, working alongside two Senior Associates, a Data Scientist, and reporting to the Managing Director of AgTech.
Working Conditions
Travel Required: 20%
Standard business hours with occasional evening calls for US-based portfolio companies.
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel to rural farm locations for site visits
Prolonged periods of screen-based analytical work
