What we are looking for
Yazaki is looking for an Analyst II to join our Distribution Center team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment, coordinating across multiple functions to ensure customer delivery requirements are consistently met. This role requires strong analytical skills, ownership of delivery performance, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
What you will be doing
Analyze customer demand and inventory levels; create and manage internal orders in SAP
Coordinate order preparation and release to the warehouse to meet delivery windows
Monitor on-time delivery performance and ensure 100% customer delivery compliance
Initiate and manage premium freight when necessary with proper approvals
Transmit and monitor ASN accuracy; resolve errors and discrepancies
Track and report customer delivery performance metrics; dispute ratings when appropriate
Reconcile shipment discrepancies (DMR, RDR, RMO) and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements (labeling, packaging, routing, EDI)
Coordinate transportation requirements across internal teams and customers
Follow up on incoming shipments and internal dependencies impacting delivery
Act as liaison between customers and production control; support issue resolution
Manage obsolescence and balance-out activities; apply FIFO and design level controls
Maintain accurate system data for part setup and order processing
Support engineering changes and communicate delivery impacts to customers
Participate in customer and internal meetings; Escalate issues when required
Complete reports, metrics, and analysis to support operational performance
Support forecasting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor and support other analysts; assist across carlines as needed
Support health and safety policies
What you will bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Understanding of customer requirements and logistics processes
Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed
Ability to coordinate across teams and make decisions under pressure
