
Private Bank Loan Portfolio Manager

This position is available in any Huntington Corporate office location.
Summary:
As an integral part of the Huntington Private Bank, the Private Bank Loan Portfolio Manager develops and maintains profitable commercial loan relationships to businesses and individuals in Private Bank within lending limits including loan renewals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifying needs, developing fundamental loan recommendations (including cross-sales), negotiating loan terms, approving/coordinating approval of loans, portfolio risk monitoring, and researching basic business issues.
Administers Private Bank liquid secured loans, including collateral monitoring and default credit.
Works closely with Private Bank Wealth Advisors, Capital Advisors, Loan Closers and other team members to satisfy customers’ consumer and commercial loan needs including active participation in all sales of Private Bank loan products.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the assigned portfolio and provide informed decision-making support.
Perform final risk rating analysis and document credit decisions, conditions, and modifications.
Perform loan covenant testing.
Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct portfolio reviews with senior management and assist in resolving out-of-balance and default situations.
Participate in joint calls with relationship managers and attend meetings.
Works with loans of low to moderate complexity.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of credit or banking experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Consumer Lending experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented.
Ability to work independently and in groups on multiple tasks without compromising quality.
Experience in banking of finance industry preferred
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay, No = eligible for overtime pay)
