Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra Architect with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mainframes and AWS Cloud and will work in a hybrid model with no travel required. The role involves designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that align with business goals ensuring high performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Mainframes and AWS Cloud technologies into existing systems.
Analyze and optimize infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and scalability.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs and configurations.
Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Oversee the deployment and management of infrastructure resources in a hybrid work model.
Ensure that all infrastructure solutions are secure reliable and cost-effective.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address infrastructure-related challenges and opportunities.
Lead efforts to automate infrastructure processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements to enhance system reliability.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in infrastructure solutions.
Provide training and support to team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Possess extensive experience in Mainframes and AWS Cloud technologies.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.
Have a deep understanding of industry standards and best practices.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Certifications Required
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certified Mainframe Professional
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for the position depends on experience and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
