Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Medical Patrol in Richmond, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTime Wed 08:00 PM - 02:00 AM
Sat 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM
Responsibilities:
Provide a dedicated professional Security Presence in a healthcare setting
Promote Patient Safety with consistent patrols, De‑escalation Tactics, and a focus on compassionate care
Assist medical staff in high intensity incidents & emergencies
Conduct Patient safety screenings, Provide access control, and customer service assistance
Complete accurate after‑action reports for incidents and calls for service
Assist Medical team with medical restraints as trained, Transport Deceased patients to the morgue
Maintain Hospital Safety and Security policies, and patient safety and dignity with the highest level of professionalism
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma/GED verifiable by a 3rd party background check
Current driver’s license if driving a company- or customer‑owned vehicle
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Must be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state
At least 2 years of verifiable work history with no gaps in employment more than 90 days
Ability to pass a federal 10‑panel drug test
Willing to undergo TB bloodwork and vaccination compliance requirements
Ability to remain calm, confident, and reliable in stressful situations
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand/walk for long periods and respond quickly when needed
