DayTime Wed 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM, Thur 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
What You'll Do
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to property management and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
Monitor access points, common areas, and exterior grounds to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and/or address policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
Maintain required armed post readiness by handling assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws and licensing requirements.
Minimum Requirements
An armed guard card and/or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
