How you’ll make an impact
As the dedicated senior consultative analyst for one of GB’s largest carrier clients, you will execute quantitative analysis to drive actionable insights. Your insights should identify performance gaps and hypotheses for root cause, leading to specific action plans to capitalize on opportunities. You will work very closely with Client Services, Claims Operations, as well as the Client’s analytics team and our internal executive team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate scorecards and reports to track this client’s claims and operational performance, including packaging of monthly insights for an executive report out. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle numerous inflight asks with a short timeline and communicate expectations effectively with internal and external stakeholders across the organization. Intermediate to expert level skills in SQL and Excel are essential for analyzing and transforming complex data into meaningful insights, presenting the findings clearly, and identifying strategic next steps to effectively influence outcomes. In addition, you will be required to streamline processes and automate reporting where applicable.
Essential responsibilities include:
Action‑Oriented Performance Monitoring:
In collaboration with the client, and internal teams, develop custom reports / KPI dashboards which drive actionable insights
Package insights from analyses into highly polished presentations for internal and external stakeholders and/or executive team
Deep Dive / Root Cause Analysis:
Conduct hypotheses‑driven, exhaustive analyses of metrics with material variance vs. historical trends and/or benchmarks
Analyses will deliver targeted recommendations and actions
Bespoke Analysis and Reporting:
Expedited delivery (often same day) of reports and/or answers to ad‑hoc questions
Expert help with optimizing and configuring client’s risk management information system
Impact on Outcomes:
Close connection with both Gallagher Bassett Client Services and Claims Operation to translate analytical insights into actions that drive superior outcomes
About You
Required: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years professional experience with quantitative analysis. Less than 20% travel.
Preferred: Master's/MBA degree; Strong academic credentials. Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with Access or enterprise database programs a plus.
