Materials Planner
Role Purpose
The Materials Planner ensures the timely delivery of raw materials to support manufacturing operations, safeguarding business continuity and supply chain performance. This role is critical to maintaining production flow, optimizing inventory, and preventing material shortages.
You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and cross?functional partners to manage material flow, assess risks, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Execute supply chain planning activities within established systems.
Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery issues, and take proactive actions to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Perform daily operational tasks and adjust parameters to meet performance targets.
Conduct inventory control activities to maintain accuracy and material flow.
Collect and analyze data from standard sources.
Prepare clear, accurate reports to support decision?making and performance tracking.
Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate supply chain activities and manage routine requests.
Contribute ideas to optimize processes.
Support operational reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
Development
Participate in training and coaching.
Stay current on technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
Technical Skills

Traffic and vehicle planning (with guidance)
Requirements
Bachelors degree or CPIM Certification (preferred).
2 years of experience in operations, inventory, supply chain, or related processes.
Experience in ERP systems
Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills (data analysis and reporting preferred).
Experience in automotive or manufacturing enviroment (preferred)
Team?oriented, adaptable, and able to manage priorities effectively.
