Golf Course Maintenance Grounds Crew
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Grounds Crew. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining the golf course's landscape, ensuring a pristine playing environment for our guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging of grass areas
Assist in the maintenance of golf course greens, tees, and fairways
Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools
Monitor and manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of the course
Assist in the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of course presentation
Participate in seasonal projects such as aeration, overseeding, and landscaping improvements
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required
Ability to operate lawn care equipment and machinery safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License.
18 years of age and over preferred.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions including inclement conditions when necessary (afternoons preferred)
Ability to work weekends and holidays
