Job Summary
The team leader is responsible for supporting the management team by demonstrating a selling behavior, flourishing as a salesperson and promoting a positive work environment and and proactive work ethic.
Essential Functions:
Assist the store manager/assistant manager with daily operations, activities, and tasks of employees and other tasks as needed.
Support business operations, policies and procedures.
Perform sales and stock duties (receiving and filing merchandise and issuing merch to the sales floor)
Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
Ensure the proper processes and displays of merchandise and visual presentations.
Oversee and monitor all methods of loss prevention in the store of which the team member is assigned.
Assist the store manager/assistant manager in maintaining company standards for sales floor for staff.
Assist with the development of new sales as social activities.
Ability to complete banking.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
High level of integrity.
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Environmental Demands:
Constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling; frequent lifting and carrying (up to 55 lbs); ability to commute.
