Salazar Road Veterinary Clinic is expanding our companion animal practice and searching for a friendly and compassionate veterinarian. We welcome experienced doctors seeking collaboration as well as early‑career doctors eager for mentorship.
Must be licensed, or able to become licensed, in the state of New Mexico for consideration.
Scheduling Needs
Flexible scheduling: open to full‑time or part‑time. Current hours are weekdays 8 am – 6 pm. There are no weekend, on‑call services, or emergency hours required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Find support from our veterinarians and a tenured support staff
Build and uphold existing relationships with the local community
Provide loving care to small animals and peace of mind to their humans
Support our mission to provide high‑quality, modern veterinary care in a compassionate, clean, and friendly environment
Maintain a positive attitude and pursue continued education and learning opportunities
Exercise medical freedom to practice skills you are proficient in or explore areas you wish to learn
Have opportunities to see exotic pets (if desired)
