Audiologist – Diagnostic & Vestibular Services, PRN

Vanderbilt University Medical Center Satellite Clinics
Schedule:
PRN (Flexible, no weekends or holidays)
We are seeking a compassionate PRN Audiologist to support our outpatient diagnostic audiology and vestibular balance clinics across Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) satellite locations near Nashville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for an Audiologist who enjoys delivering high-quality diagnostic care while maintaining an as‑needed schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations, including pure‑tone audiometry, speech testing, tympanometry, OAEs, and ABR testing
Conduct vestibular and balance assessments for patients across the lifespan
Collaborate with ENT physicians and interdisciplinary providers to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow‑up care
Educate and support patients and families regarding hearing health, hearing loss, balance disorders, and next steps in care
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s degree in Audiology
Current Tennessee Audiology License
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC‑A) or ABA certification required
Strong diagnostic and vestibular testing skills
Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centered approach
