Overview
Assists the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of club operations, including activities and relationships between members, guests, and associates. Assists with financial responsibility for the property.

Experience Required

Bachelor's degree (BA); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CMAA member, GCSSA or PGA/LPGA membership preferred.

Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties.

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

Regularly stands, walks and sits.

Occasionally may climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, taste or smell.

Regularly uses hands to finger, feel or handle, reaches with arms and hands, talks or hears.

Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.

Noise level is moderate.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist with development, administration and achievement of the annual golf revenue plan, with hotel play and other outside play as target market.

Oversee the care and maintenance of all club physical assets and may coordinate maintenance efforts of Clubhouse Managers.

Audit inventories to assess control reliability and identify opportunities to control product costs and other expenses.

Prepare and monitor quarterly revenue goals and expenses, generate business volume reports, and update forecasts.

Monitor financial reports/statements monthly and recommend corrective action for negative budget variance.

Monitor business volume forecast in each department and advise changes to plans or programs.

Manage marketing efforts to continually promote controlled golf access to target markets.

Collaborate with key managers to develop and achieve business and operating plans.

Participate in the creation of events and menus for restaurants and banquets.

Assist the General Manager in monitoring departmental success and associate performance reviews.

Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, disciplining associates, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Organize data required to prepare annual budgets and the comprehensive annual club business plan.

Serve as budget manager and point person for timely and accurate completion of annual budgets for club operations.

Monitor personnel policy and review policies relating to personnel actions, training, and professional development programs.

Ensure human resources procedures and policies are followed and deviations are effectively managed.

Update and oversee implementation of policies and procedures for multiple departments, including compliance with company standards.

Monitor safe-work practices and coordinate ongoing safety education programs.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
