Job Summary
The Sr. Digital/Web Specialist is the in‑house creative expert on UX/UI, mobile responsive design, design trends and latest front‑end web design technology. This role sets best practices in digital marketing, develops digital marketing strategies—including website, email, SEO, SEM, and mobile—and develops data‑driven digital solutions to advance clients’ objectives. The Specialist leads the conceptualization and implementation of online creative solutions that clearly communicate the company’s brand identity and marketing objectives, and serves as the organizational expert in email/SMS development, Marketing Cloud optimization, and data‑driven digital communications.
Job Specifications and Core Competencies
Build, test, and deploy responsive email templates using Marketing Cloud; conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize subject lines, layouts, CTAs, and personalization; use Salesforce data, segment audiences, and deliver customized member communications; monitor performance and provide actionable insights to improve open rates, click‑through rates, and conversions; ensure compliance with CAN SPAM, HIPAA, and internal data handling standards.
Offer web creative direction and strategic web design support; lead the planning and execution of a full website redesign, including platform evaluation, information architecture, user flows, and content strategy; provide expert recommendations on CMS platforms, frameworks, and integrations; collaborate with IT, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the site meets accessibility, security, and performance standards.
Concept and implement strategic, integrated marketing campaigns through digital channels—including web, SEO, SEM, email, and mobile—while executing projects within agreed timing and keeping the member experience in mind.
Advance digital brand through defining web guidelines and standards, drive online creative direction in line with brand guidelines and strategy; build dashboards and reporting structures to track KPIs across email, web, SEO, SEM, and digital campaigns; translate performance data into clear recommendations for optimization; adjust campaigns based on real‑time insights.
Coordinate day‑to‑day project flow by developing and maintaining project deadlines, prioritizing tasks, monitoring assigned campaigns' performance, tracking results, and making recommendations for optimization through ongoing reporting.
Actively contribute to achievement of departmental goals as identified in the department's annual business plan, including specific process improvement plans and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, Web Design/Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field required.
Work Experience: Four years in directly related field; healthcare knowledge is a plus.
Management Experience: None.
Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio), Salesforce CRM (basic querying, segmentation, data extensions), HTML/CSS for email development, Google Analytics (GA4), CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar), SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMRush, Moz, etc.).
Project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Wrike preferred.
Other: Must proactively identify opportunities for improvement and provide strategic recommendations; must be able to independently manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress clearly.
Experience with website redesigns or migrations, healthcare or regulated industries, knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), and familiarity with UX research methods (user testing, heatmaps, etc.) preferred.
