Overview
Corgan is recruiting a senior level creative Interior Designer for the Workplace Interiors Studio in New York.

Responsibilities

Lead concept development and guide the design narrative for a wide range of projects

Partner with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through inspired, buildable design

Curate materials, finishes, furnishings, and details that reflect both design integrity and operational excellence

Mentor and motivate a talented team of designers, fostering a collaborative, creative culture

Lead design presentations that communicate a strong point of view with clarity and confidence

Manage project delivery, ensuring design intent carries through documentation, construction, and completion

Collaborate with architects, consultants, and brand strategists to deliver seamless, cohesive experiences

Engage with the broader design and aviation community to build relationships and identify new opportunities

Is an industry expert in major building systems and conveys this knowledge to the team

Oversees the work of the Project Designers

Demonstrates knowledge of resources and materials and their application

Directs the production of design materials that meet project objectives, including functional concepts, images, schedules and budgets

Cultivates success through high level design and planning, facility requirements analysis, conceptual design and systems integration and teamwork

Possesses excellent programming and strategic planning skills

Maintains knowledge regarding industry trends, professional practice, regulatory and construction practice and issues

Builds the firm’s practice by inspiring and motivating Project Designers

Qualifications

This role is an in-office position

Degree in Interior Design or Architecture

10+ years of interior design experience, ideally in workplace

A portfolio that demonstrates design excellence - from concept to realization

Deep understanding of how design enhances the guest experience and brand identity

Fluency in Revit, and familiarity with FF&E selection, detailing and documentation

Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills

Proven ability to manage complex projects, teams, and client relationships

Interest in sustainable design and innovation

Professional registration preferred

Ongoing participation in outside design activities, groups, etc.

Confident presentation ability

This position is designated

full-time on-site

and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location

Monday through Friday during standard business hours . Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.

Base Salary Range: $90,000- $135,000 annually – New York locations only

The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in New York locations only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
